I know I promised to post Christmas season pictures, but I'm going to go backwards and post New Year's pics first. We had a really fun New Year's Eve event at the Riga 1 corps. Lots of games, food, worship and well, generally a lot of noise! (as always, click on pictures for a better view)

As a mom of a Latvian, I just want to say thank you for keeping this blog. It gives me snapshots of the culture she has left behind. As a Christian, I appreciate your perspective. I know most Latvians don't know Christ.

P.S. We celebrated 12th night, kept our tree up til the 7th and ate lentils on the 6th :)
